Natural Resource Management - Land
The continuing attraction of Cape Cod to tourists and residents has increased development and commercialism, greatly impacting
open space, shorelines, and lakes and ponds. To preserve the conservation land areas in towns throughout the Cape, we provide
valuable hours doing trail maintenance, construction, and land restoration. We have restored hundreds of acres of open space
removing non-native plants, planting beach grass along Cape Cod beaches, and constructing a 900-foot boardwalk in Barnstable's
Long Point Conservation area.
